Heritage Lottery Fund - Yorkshire's Back Garden

We are pleased to announce our Natural Heritage Campaign – Yorkshire’s Back Garden.

This exciting campaign has been devised by the Heritage Lottery Fund Yorkshire and the Humber Development Team to promote funding available for natural heritage projects across the region over the next twelve to eighteen months.

We hope to raise awareness of the availability of funding for natural heritage - especially amongst new audiences and smaller community groups in both urban and rural areas.  Through a series of HLF events and the communication campaign we will encourage people to think more widely about what natural heritage is, with a particular focus on the fact natural heritage is everywhere in Yorkshire hence the campaign name ‘Yorkshire’s back garden’.  Using this approach we aim to stimulate and increase the level good quality applications we receive, particularly at the smaller grant level from £10, 000 to £100,000.
